The Oklahoma Sooners picked up an improbable upset win over the No. three team in the country, downing the Baylor Bears 72-67 to advance to the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament and continue their NCAA tournament hopes alive.
Jacob Groves was the hero the Oklahoma Sooners needed on Th night, dropping a season-high 15 points to lead Oklahoma in scoring. His 9 rebounds too led the Sooners and helped give Oklahoma a narrow edge in the rebounding section.
3-point shooting was the name of the game as the Sooners hit 52% of their threes and held Baylor to only thirteen% shooting from downtown. The deviation from three helped Oklahoma overcome a -ten in the turnover department.
Oklahoma moves on to the semifinals to have on the winner of Texas Tech vs. Iowa State, but before we motility on with them, allow’s take a look back at the big win with the all-time images from the Sooners upset of Baylor.
