The
2021–22 Southeastern Briefing men’s basketball flavor
began with practices in October 2021, followed by the start of the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men’southward basketball season on November 9. Conference play started in belatedly December and will end in March, after which 14 member teams will participate in the 2022 SEC Tournament at Amalie Loonshit in Tampa, Florida. The tournament champion is guaranteed a selection to the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

The season was initially slated to brainstorm on November ten, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which prematurely ended the previous season and continues to touch the current ane.
